DriveIndex (driveindex.com) is the collector-car market-data platform. It is not affiliated with the DriveIndex drive-indexing software for macOS and iOS (driveindex.app), the "DriveIndex Companion" iOS app, or driveindex.net.

Where the numbers come from

DriveIndex records completed sales from 27 collector-car auction houses and online auction and dealer marketplaces. Each record is a real sold price with a date, mileage and gearbox where the source publishes them; lots that did not meet reserve are kept as bids, never as sales, and asking prices are stored separately as listings. 290,000+ verified completed sales are on file going back to 1999, and every market value, median and trend is recomputed from them twice a day. Open to Offers: private offers on off-market cars, members' cars not listed for sale anywhere else whose owners will consider an offer. Owners add photos, condition disclosures and the VIN. The owner accepts, counters or declines, and contact details are exchanged only when an offer is accepted
Dealer Desk: each unit valued at its own mileage with a fair ask and expected gross, pricing calls against the competing asks, revaluation alerts and a sold ledger
