What every unit on your lot gets
- A value at the unit's own mileage, computed from verified completed sales of that exact car

Getting your inventory in
- Upload your lot by CSV, push it through the Dealer API, or point DriveIndex at a nightly feed.
- Each unit is matched to its exact car. A row with a VIN but a missing year, make or model is filled from a VIN decode first, and anything that cannot be matched with confidence is left for you to pick rather than guessed.
- Matched units are valued immediately and revalued every night after that.
Watching the lot, not just pricing it
Once a unit is in, the desk keeps an eye on it. You see the nightly value trend for the whole lot, and you get an alert when a unit's value moves, when a competitor lists the same car for less, or when a car has gone stale in stock.
Why the values hold up
Every value starts from completed sales, not asking prices. Asks are tracked separately and used for what they are: the competition. Outliers are removed before a value is computed, a reserve-not-met bid is never treated as a sale, and each value is adjusted for mileage.

Does it work for regular used cars?
It is built for collector, enthusiast and exotic cars, which is what DriveIndex tracks. A unit DriveIndex does not track is left unmatched rather than given a guessed value.
